One of the best ways to experience all that Miami has to offer is to visit during one of the city’s many LGBTQ+ events. The Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade is a popular event in April, attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year. The Miami Beach Gay Pride Festival, which takes place in the same week, is another must-see event. Other popular LGBTQ+ events in the city and nearby include the White Party, Winter Party, and Pride Fort Lauderdale.
In addition to its many LGBTQ+ events, Miami is home to a number of gay-friendly neighborhoods and businesses. The city’s most well-known gay neighborhood is Miami Beach’s South Beach, which is home to a number of gay bars, clubs, and hotels. Other popular neighborhoods for the LGBTQ+ community include Wilton Manors and the city’s Design District.

ColonyTheatre

OUTshine Film Festival
The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival started in 1998; the Fort Lauderdale Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in 2008. Both were brought together under one brand to become The MiFo LGBT Film Festival in 2015, with a seasonal event serving each city.
