Confluence Park
An old warehouse at 1801 North Griffin Street, near the Historic West End District in downtown Dallas, became the original site of The Dallas World Aquarium, opening to the public in October 1992. Built in 1924, the empty warehouse had been occupied until 1982. During those years it was used for various industries, including the Mohawk Rubber Company and Pioneer Steel Rule and Die.

Clyfford Still Museum
The Clyfford Still Museum allows visitors the unique experience to understand the legacy of Clyfford Still. He had a unique artistic vision and was unwilling to compromise it for money or recognition. As he evolved as an artist, Still’s works transitioned from outdoor scenes, people, and machinery to more abstract shapes, colors, and lines to express an idea or feeling. He painted on huge canvases to invite viewers to experience and be absorbed by them. Still did not name his works because he wanted people to make their own interpretations.

It is headquartered in the History Colorado Center in Denver's Golden Triangle Museum District.
Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art
In May 1981, artist Vance Kirkland died, willing the majority of his estate to family friend Hugh Grant who had been curating exhibitions for Kirkland. Since Kirkland?s wife had already died and they had no children, Grant became executor of the estate. From 1981 to 1996, Grant mounted exhibitions of Kirkland?s work and that of other artists such as Edgar Britton and Otto Bach. By 1996, Grant became concerned that Colorado fine and decorative art was not being shown in depth in any museum setting. Many exceptional artists of the past were being forgotten.
