Friday, May 9 Cagedbirds Productions returns to Atlanta with a celebration of LGBT romance and poetry. Cagedbirds Productions, LLC affirms the black, LGBT lived experience on screen and on stage. Through storytelling, we build community and spark conversations about issues that affect our people. We’re most known for our hit play, ‘When Boy's Exhale’ based on the movie ‘Waiting to Exhale’ which has traveled to Atlanta twice. 'GAY Love Jones' has been performed in both DC and Houston.

This event is hosted at different spaces throughout the city each month. Memento is an creative laboratory, a curated gallery, and a space for play & discovery. We host events, sell artwork and provide space in Atlanta. Although tickets aren't required to attend, your decision to donate helps further The Bakery's mission and initiatives.
